Features

  1. AUTOMATIC TEMPERATURE CONTROL
  2. An internal 4 Watt thermostatically controlled anti-condensation heater maintains the internal temperature between +20°C and +30°C(68°F and 86°F) eliminating the possibility of damage by condensation.

  3. AUTO VOLTAGE SENSING
  4. The J2 actuators are, within the voltage ranges specified for “L” or “H” series, multi-voltage capable and make automatic internal adjustments to ensure the actuator operates, irrespective of the power supply.
    “L” series operates from 15V to 48V AC or 12V to 48V DC
    “H” series operates from 80V to 240V AC or DC

  5. ELECTRONIC TORQUE LIMITER (ETL)
  6. Continuous electric monitoring of the motor produces smooth operation and accurate control of the motor consumption up to the maximum permissible torque. Should the maximum torque be exceeded, the ETL automatically cuts the power to the motor to prevent damage to the actuator, and automatically relaxes the gearbox to allow simple operation of the manual override.
    Also includes an internal LED to give visual ETL status indication: a constantly lit LED advises all is normal, a flashing LED advises that the actuator’s torque has been exceeded and the ETL has activated.

  7. MANUAL OVERRIDE
  8. For emergency manual override, operate the selector lever on the side of the actuator. The power to the motor will automatically be disconnected.

  9. PROTECTED ELECTRICAL SUPPLY
  10. This takes 2 forms: firstly the actuator is protected against short-circuiting when connected and whilst the actuator will not operate if incorrectly connected, no internal damage will result. Secondly, the J2 accepts the same wiring connection for either AC or DC operation.
