Installation information
  1. Please make sure the tank wall hole equal to the tank connector body male thread OD or up to 1/32” larger. If exceeding the size, the gasket may not be sealed properly.
  2. Make sure the corresponding gasket sealing surface is smooth and no deep scratches or burrs.
  3. Gasket must be placed inside the tank wall not outside.
  4. Hand-tighten female thread tank connector nut to male thread tank connector body, If leakage appear, apply approximate tighten units is as below table. Caution: Over tighten strength will cause damage to the nut and body.
  5. Apply PTFE tape to the male thread adaptor in the clockwise direction. Tightly wrap the PTFE tape around the entire length of threads with overlapping 2/3 tape width from first thread to the end.
  6. Wrap tape about 6-9 turns according to the actual situation, wrap too much or not enough tape will affect function.
  7. Screw male thread adaptor into female thread tank connector body until hand-tight with additional 1 to 1-1/2 turn only. Over strength will cause the damage to the body thread.
  8. Approximate tighten units is as follows:

1/2" 2/3 of a turn
3/4" ~ 2-1/2" 1/2 of a turn
3" ~ 4" 1/3 of a turn
